Ubuntu Phallicy

Posted by Harlem

I just read on Digg about Ubuntus supposed phallic symbol! To be honest with you I haven't read the post yet, and I may update the blog as soon as I do. My initial thoughts are, "hmmm...I realize in some polls that 98% of linux users are male but should we resort to this to attract a more female user base?

And now Novell is says Windows is cheaper???? What is this all about. Apparently, Novell doesn't just use SLED, but a host of other distros as well? I don't know about this, it seems an like and obvious statement against the rising tide of open source adoption. Of course there is probably money involved in one way or another either directly or indirectly. here is the link to that: http://news.zdnet.co.uk/software/0,1000000121,39286295,00.htm And lastly, Gnome 2.18.0 is out and ready for use!! On time (take that Mocrosoft) no less. How do they do that? Here is the link: http://www.gnome.org/start/2.18/notes/C/
